Tools for navigating family-staff conflict

In 2017, I was a member of Sunnybrook NICU's Family Advisory Committee (FAC) and we reviewed a new document developed to guide a meeting about family-staff interactions in the case of major conflict. Our FAC was chaired by the NICU Family Support Specialist at the time (Kate Robson), who would have been involved in this document's development.

Its called the NICU Commitment to Partnership. A large poster of it is mounted in the public space between the staff NICU entrance and family NICU entrance. Here is a photo, taken October 31, 2025.
