Advocacy: Driving Change for Better Care

CPBF is committed to improving outcomes for preterm babies and their families by advancing family-centered policies, practices, and systems of care across Canada. Through our advocacy efforts, we work with healthcare leaders, researchers, policymakers, and family partners to ensure the voices and experiences of parents help shape decisions that affect neonatal care.

Our advocacy is grounded in evidence and informed by lived experience. We champion policies and initiatives that strengthen family-integrated care, protect parental presence in the NICU, and improve access to equitable, high-quality care for every baby and family.

Together with our partners, we are driving meaningful change to create a future where every preterm baby and family receives the support, care, and opportunities they need to thrive.

There are many ways to connect with others in the community, information and education.
