Why Fundraising Matters
Behind every NICU bed is a family navigating one of the most difficult moments of their lives, and your support can make a huge difference.
When you fundraise for the Canadian Premature Babies Foundation, you’re not only raising money. You’re helping provide critical resources that bring comfort, connection, and hope to families across Canada.
Thanks to fundraising efforts, CPBF can:
-
Run peer support groups that connect parents with others who truly understand them
-
Offer free webinars and educational resources to empower families during and after the NICU journey
-
Advocate for FICare (family integrated care) and Kangaroo Care (skin-to-skin care) in hospitals
Government funding doesn’t cover these kinds of programs, and the need continues to grow. With 1 in 12 babies in Canada born prematurely, your fundraiser helps fill a gap that only compassion can.
Every dollar counts. Every event matters. And every action you take helps make sure no NICU family feels alone during their journey.
