From the Heart: A Resource Created to Strengthen Family Engagement in the NICU 

From the Heart is a passion-driven collaborative project developed by a team of parents, clinicians, educators, and professionals who believe deeply in the power of parents during a baby’s NICU stay.

The Canadian Premature Babies Foundation was part of the development team, helping ensure that parent voice and lived experience were meaningfully reflected throughout the resource.

Created through interdisciplinary collaboration, From the Heart brings together evidence-informed guidance and lived experience to support early connection, attachment, and meaningful parental involvement in neonatal care.

This resource is not intended for families to purchase individually. It is designed for NICUs and neonatal care teams who want to strengthen family-integrated and developmental care within their unit.
