New Brunswick - Criteria for RSV Prophylaxis
1.
Premature babies born less 32 gestational weeks.
2.
Premature babies born at 32 completed weeks to 35 completed weeks and are 6 months of age at the beginning of the season should have a RSV risk assessment done by a NICU staff or the baby's community doctor.
3.
Premature babies born in isolated communities depending on the baby’s health.
4.
Other medical conditions, for example, severe chronic lung disease, congenital heart disease, down syndrome, please speak to your health care provider.
