RSV DURING COVID-19
Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is the most common respiratory pathogen for premature infants and remains the most common cause of lower respiratory tract infection.
During Covid-19, the rise of severe RSV infection in vulnerable children remains high and immunization programs must be maintained.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO REASSURE THE PARENTS
TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF PARENTS AND CHILDREN AND TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19, ADDITIONAL MEASURES ARE IN PLACE:
Symptoms screening at the entrance of health centres
Limited number of visitors
Respect of distancing measures in waiting rooms
Systematic disinfection of examination rooms between patients
Wear a face mask
