Alberta - Criteria for RSV Prophylaxis
1.
Premature babies born less than or equal to 28 6/7 weeks gestational age born after May 31st, and less than 6 months of age as of December 1st.
2.
Premature Babies born less than or equal to 29 0/7 - 32 6/7 weeks gestational age born after September 30th.
3.
Premature Babies born less than or equal to 33 0/7 - 35 6/7 weeks gestational age and born after October 31stshould have an RSV risk assessment done either by a NICU staff or the baby's community doctor
4.
Other medical conditions, for example, severe chronic lung disease, congenital heart disease, down syndrome, please speak to your health care provider.
